GOAT SALES POLICY:

Sadly, due to recent events, we are forced to update our sales policy to specifically state that no goat may leave the farm until payment has been made in full. No goat will be held without a deposit. No health certificates or additional testing without a deposit.
Unless specific arrangements are made prior to placing a deposit, all weaned kids and/or adult goats must be paid in full and picked up from our farm within two weeks or the deposit will be forfeited and the goat put back on our sales list. Thank you so much for your understanding.
Now, on to the rest of the details...................
Prices are firm but we do offer multiple purchase discounts. Wethers are $50 each or they may be offered for free as companions to breeding animals. **There is no guarantee on the availablity of free companion wethers. We are almost always willing to trade or barter for equal value but we can't trade goat for goat because of our strict disease prevention practices. We're usually willing to trade for anything that doesn't eat.
Reservations are made and goats held by deposit only. A $50 non refundable deposit will hold the unborn kid of your choice until that kid is old enough to leave our farm. Bottle raised kids can leave here at or around 4 weeks old and dam raised kids are generally left with mom until they are 10-12 weeks old. In the event that the buyer's 1st choice of kid isn't born, we will apply the deposit to a second choice. If no 2nd choice is available, the deposit will be refunded. Adult goats and weaned kids will be held with a $100 non- refundable deposit for 2 weeks while the buyer makes transportation arrangements. The deposit is now non-negotiable. There is a $40 charge for the basic health certificate which is not included in the purchase price. Any additional testing required will also be the buyer's responsibility and is not included in the purchase price although we will be happy to arrange any testing neccessary once a deposit has been received. We try to help with transportation as much as possible and don't mind delivering goats within 100 miles for the price of gas. We also offer transportation to the Louisville Airport for free. (The shipping crate, HC, and any specific testing required for out of state buyers are not included in the price of the goat or the transportation fee.)
